Based on a brake time recorder, testing fixtures, test rack, and photoelectric sensors, the system measures the time it takes for a chainsaw to stop after the brake handle is pressed. A photoelectric sensor is installed on the chainsaw blade to detect its operation. When the chainsaw is started, the sensor detects the running state. As soon as the testing fixture presses the brake handle, the testing instrument begins timing while reading the sensor’s signal in real-time. When the sensor detects that the chainsaw has stopped, the system calculates the brake time by subtracting the brake handle press time from the chainsaw stop time.

Features:

  • Blade Speed Detection: Uses imported high-speed photoelectric sensors to detect when the blade has come to a complete stop.

  • Data Recording: Logs prototype number, cycle count, and stop time.

  • Compatibility: Capable of measuring brake times for both gasoline-powered and lithium-powered hedge trimmers.

  • Brake Time Judgment and Alerts: Utilizes photoelectric sensors with testing instruments to determine brake time and provide warnings (upper and lower limits can be set, data can be communicated). Testing precision is ±20 m/s.

  • Testing Time: Ranges from 0 to 9.999 seconds, with a resolution of 1 m/s.

  • Mode Switching:

    • Mode 1: Measures stop time upon releasing start switch 1 (sensor detects release).

    • Mode 2: Measures stop time upon releasing start switch 2 (sensor detects release).

  • Cycle Testing: Allows setting of operation times from 0.1 to 999.9 seconds.

  • Power Off Time: Adjustable from 0.1 to 999.9 seconds, with cycles configurable from 1 to 99,999 times.
